WEEK THREE- DAY ELEVEN

week three:
GRACE

"Each of us was created by God for relationship with Him,
but we can only enjoy that relationship by God's grace."

Remember our definition of worship?....

"Worship
is our response
to God's
revelation
of WHO He is
and WHAT
He has done."

As we begin our new week together, I hope and pray that you are experiencing God in fresh new ways as you study God's word, pray and participate in this bible study.

TODAY'S MAIN IDEA:
Entering God's presence requires grace that only
He can provide.

The grace of God--unmerited favor and transforming power for every believer!

Harland begins this week reminding us that "God is very serious about having a relationship with us and being our first priority in life" (p. 57, workbook).

Aren't you thankful for God's grace? Did you thank Him for His unmerited favor on you today? Make it priority to give thanks every morning this week for His grace that has been given so freely to each of us.

Today's study emphasizes that "God's grace always has been sufficient, always is sufficient, and always will be sufficient for everything we face in this life. And He is worthy of our worship--always!" (p. 59, workbook)

Harland encourages each of us to keep a journal and write down what God has done in our lives. Do you keep one? Do you write down ways that God reveals Himself to you? If so, tell me about it.

PRAISE GOD FROM WHOM ALL BLESSINGS FLOW!

I am so thankful that the Sovereign God of the universe reached down from his holy throne and took on real flesh and blood in order to redeem sinners like you and me.

Have a great day with the Lord!
Blessings,
Ken
